Heddy was born from a decade-long partnership built on excellence.

Founder Dierdre Slavin and Dr. Wendi Harper Lonabough in 2022—smiling outside during the early days of what would become Heddy. Their long-standing friendship and shared vision for medical aesthetics laid the foundation for a modernized, in-practice training company focused on outcomes over industry politics.

When they met, Wendi was an injector in Asheville, and Dierdre was an injectable rep.

Dr. Wendi’s journey combines art, science, and a passion for learning. After studying architectural design at Drexel University, she pivoted to medicine, spending years in critical care, including neonatal and pediatric cardiothoracic ICUs. 

In 2012, she earned her MSN as a Family Nurse Practitioner, where her artistic background made facial aesthetics a natural fit.

Working with top plastic surgeons, Wendi became known for her precise, natural results, leading to roles as a national trainer for Galderma, Allergan, Suneva, Evolus, Inmode, and Tiger Aesthetics. 

She earned her doctorate in non-invasive aesthetic medicine and patient education, and her work was published in the Journal of Aesthetic and Plastic Nursing.

Outside of work, she’s a marathon runner, clogger, traveler, and proud mom of four. Married for 31 years, Wendi remains passionate about pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in aesthetic medicine.
