I saw this coming, but had to prove it first.

Seventeen years. Four of the top U.S. medical aesthetics manufacturers, Medicis, Valeant Aesthetics, Suneva Medical, Merz Aesthetics. Field sales. Commercial development. Clinical training. Regional executive. Executive Director of Strategic Partnerships.

During that time, I trained 1,000+ medical providers, 164 of them one-on-one, in-practice. I built training programs, developed field strategy, and ran commercial initiatives from the ground up. I understood this industry at every level: the science, the margins, the politics, the gap between what manufacturers teach and what drives revenue in the room.

I saw the same gap everywhere I looked.

Injectors who were technically skilled but commercially untrained. Med spas generating half the revenue they were capable of. Manufacturers whose field teams defaulted to discount because no one had given them the clinical language to compete on value. I spent a decade watching it, testing solutions quietly, proving what worked as an intrapreneur inside the organizations.

When the moment came to scale that work nationally, the organization had a different definition of scale than I did. So I left and built Heddy, the company I’d been designing in my head for ten years.
